Lexi was owned by a 80 year lady who could not cope with her (not at all surprised!) , She did the right thing and had her Couriered up to Valgrays for re-homing and we had her within 2 days in August 2010 at 7 months old. Mary knew she had loads of potential but it has not been an easy task and she is very bossy with the other dogs, Lexi is just starting her Obedience career and as the time of writing she has gained a 2nd, 2 x 3rd’s and a 6th in Obedience

Zoe had to retire at 6 years old with ligament problems.

He is an Advanced Agility dog and has won a reserve KC Agility Challenge Certificate. He was also of course one of the stars of Freestyle/Heelwork to Music the highlight of which is performing in the Main Ring at Crufts.

Gypsy was gifted to us when she was 14 months old. She came from a very well known breeder who, for various reasons, was not going to show her again and she wanted to re-home her with Mary knowing that she would not only have a good home but also Mary would not waste her talents. On Mary’s Cabaret Nights, she was the star of the show with her exploits whilst Mary was demonstrating clicker training.
She has won out of Novice obedience and won Novice and intermediate agility classes. She would sell her soul for a bit of food which is handy when it comes to training.
Gypsy left us in January 2012

Kizzy was from Chris Bolton who is very well known for her Working Sheepdog lines under the Moonlight and Lunarlite names and was a granddaughter of our Mr Chips. She worked Championship Class in Obedience, she won 12 Kennel Club Obedience Challenge Certificates and 6 reserves. She was also an Advanced Agility dog and qualified for the Olympia Agility finals on many occasions was a co-performer with Quincy in Freestyle/Heelwork to Music, having performed in major competitions and in the Main Ring at Crufts Dog Show. Kizzy perfomed the first ever main ring routine at Crufts to Riverdance with Mary in 1997.
Kizzy left us in the Autumn of 2010

Tina was owned Shirley Turner and she was Marys stepdaughter for about 3 years !! Mary had a great deal of success running her in Agility hence she came to live with us to enable Mary to maximise her potential which included qualifying for the Olympia finals on several occasions.
In 2004 Mary and Teena won the Crufts Mini Agility Championships, in fact under Mary Tina became the first ever Sheltie Agility Champion and also competed for TeamGB at the World Agility Championships in France. When she retired from Agility she returned to her real Mum Shirley !!

We had Sacha the year we got married in 1978 and she was the first Dog Mary took to Rugby Dog Training Club, It was apparent that even with Mary’s skills it was going to be difficult to see a lucher progressing too far up the Obedience show classes, hence in early 1979 Mary got Chip. Sacha became Daves best mate and they were both really upset when she contracted bone cancer at 8 years old.
Sacha left us in 1986.

A very handsome bold dog who we fell in love with at first sight in the litter, both Mary and Chip had a meteoric rise from beginners to Championship Obedience in a very short time and this was at a time when a lot of folks had never seen a Brown & White Border Collie !!
Chip was a winner of 2 Kennel Club Obedience Challenge Certificates.
Chip was also an Advanced Agility dog and Qualified for the Olympia Agility Finals on Many Occasions.
Chip was from a farm and his Grand Sire was Inernational Champion Bill.
He sired 150 puppy’s
Chip left us at the Christmas of 1995.
